Agnes is an Investment Associate at The 97Fund. She is responsible for assessing and evaluating potential investee companies into the fund, undertaking due diligence and advising on the appropriate investment strategies. She also monitors and re-evaluates existing investments to ensure they are in line with the investment objectives.
Agnes is also responsible for preparation of internal and investment committee reports for discussion as well as promoting the development of new ideas, areas of research, and methods of investing.
She has a demonstrated history of working in business and investment advisory with experience in financial modelling, fund management and establishment, valuation, due diligence, big data and analytics, strategy development, project management and has strong research and analytical skills.
She assesses economic data and trends, undertakes financial due diligence and uses this to help guide investment decisions. She also creates financial models that enhance return on investment of projects and financial planning, prepares financial documents for presentation to potential investors during capital raising on specific investments as well as conducting market research on the industry and gathering market intelligence to enhance management of funds.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Land Economics from Makerere University and is currently a Level 2 student of the Chartered Financial Analyst Program.
